RUS-HP: Ideal Line for High-Power Broadcast Stations
The RUS-HP line was developed for high-power broadcast stations, starting with the 36kW RUS-36K and extending up to the 60kW RUS-60K. These systems are composed of two units combined through a 3dB hybrid combiner, ensuring unmatched robustness and continuous operation. They are designed to never stop broadcasting.
Each system consists of two racks and two exciters: one main and one backup. The line already incorporates an automatic exciter changeover unit (Change-EX), which keeps the station on air even if the main exciter fails. In this situation, the backup exciter is activated instantly and automatically, without any operator intervention.
All transmitters in the RUS line feature a 48 V DC power input, allowing connection to DC power sources such as battery banks. This ensures uninterrupted operation during power outages and, in theory, eliminates the need for UPS systems and generators.
RUS is a safe and reliable transmitter line, engineered for broadcasters who take responsibility for their audience and clients seriously.
